I was going through some files this morning and wanted to share some shots of this cute little man who had some special photos taken for his first birthday. I remember when my son Benjamin turned one, I brought him to this same park that week and he took his first steps here. Next month he turns 7 and I have no idea where the time has gone. Which brings me back to Byron and his colourful balloons and how I wish I had some cute photos like these of my little man on his first birthday.
I am still here, I promise! I’ve been crazy busy these last few months with portraits and family life. I haven’t mentioned on the blog before but my husband took a new and very exciting job a few months ago and has been working in the Caribbean and Europe since March, as you can imagine life for me has been insanely busy since he left. Between running around with my children, looking after my home and running the studio there isn’t much time for blogging at the moment.
I have several sessions to share on the blog but today wanted to feature a lovely shoot I did in Newcastle a few months ago for my client Kylie. I last photographed Kylie’s family when they lived in Sydney, her son Zavier was even featured on a cover of Littlies Magazine a few years back when he was one year old. Since then the family have moved north and have expanded their brood with a sweet little man called Levi. Kylie wanted to capture her two beautiful boys together so we headed off to the beach to have some fun in the sand.
I kind of fell in love with the Radio Flyer wagon that the boys own (I am a prop junkie after all) so I want to share those shots with my blog readers today. Enjoy.
