Before leaving for France I met with a sweet family for some beautiful winter family portraits. While the cooler months are much slower for photography, on a sunny Sydney day you can’t beat the winter light for portrait photography. The trees still have a few amber leaves hanging on the branches and a carpet of brown crunchy leaves still linger underfoot. Lucky for us this day was one such day and we were blessed with magical afternoon sunrays that gave me the most glorious opportunity for backlighting my subjects Scott, Alinta and Hamish.
